Dustin Lloyd Miller

This previous summer I was part
of a team of four people who traveled to SaPa
Vietnam to shoot a documentary.
The documentary was about a group of people
called the Hmong who live in extreme poverty.
We found out about these people through a
priest named Nghia, a Vietnamese-American who has
been working for the last four years to help bring
the Hmong of SaPa out of these conditions. We shot
footage for 6 days, and created a 25 minute long,
documentary but there is still a lot of the story untold.
I've decided to commit three months, starting
in February,to go back to Vietnam with Nghia and
finish telling the story of the people there
and to help Nghia raise support to continue
to do his work.
